last night a DJ saved my life
It took some arm twisting of sorts, but I managed to convince Liana to join me last night in the Distillery (I'm sure the lure of beer and nachos helped). Kid Koala was surprisingly entertaining, even though listening to a DJ spin all night isn't really my kind of thing. He got the crowd going and had everyone up and dancing, and that's all that matters.

mil, i think you can rent nets there so we just need to bring a ball (and enough people to play).
mike, you had it right the first time, it's a tasty tankhouse alright. have you tried their coffee beer? it's actually pretty good
i want to but every time i browse the lc and catch a glimpse of that coffee porter i get spooked and i really don't know why.
you need to give it a shot, at the very least so you can mention it in conversation and sound cultured and well versed in beers. try it with something hearty like beef stew or sheppards pie.
