ladies, the Doc is in

It was "Ladies Night" at the Sky Dome last night and section 233 was taken over by drunken women of all ages, proudly wearing their free baby blue Jays hats. Cushy seats, amazing game, good laughs. Next time, we should get the sweet potato fries and chicken fingers (Doris looked like she was really enjoying them.)

Roy Halladay pitched a solid game giving up only 3 hits and no runs until a 3 run shot in the 7th. The bats were on fire for Toronto and there were runs for all but 2 innings. It was great to see so many good hits and such serious offense. They loaded up the bases 3 times, and Matt Stairs took full advantage with a base clearing double in the 4th inning. Rios was impressive with a single and a well placed double, both bringing in runs early on. Scuatro and Inglett (with his great socks) both had 4 hit nights, including Scutaro's 3 run homer. Rios and Lind had 3 runs a piece.

Those damn Yankees had no chance - 21 hits and 14 runs later, and now we're back to within one game of NY for 3rd place in the AL East...bring it on Boston!
