back to basics

Sunday's at 60 Paddington used to be all about lazy afternoons, tv watching, and late lunches, but for some reason we have strayed away from the routine. December was a complete write-off what with birthdays every week, family from Texas, Christmas and New Years - it seemed like the last thing any of us wanted to do was cook (or eat) another big meal. Not sure what changed today, but it sure was nice to tie on the old apron and look up recipes. Here's to a new year of good cooking!

  • Chicken breast stuffed with sun-dried tomatoes and goat cheese, and cooked in a herb, garlic and balsamic dressing
  • Couscous with diced eggplant, zucchini, chestnuts, raisins, and parsley
  • Romaine lettuce with (the best ever) homemade Caesar dressing and crispy pancetta
