The job interview that I had high hopes for didn't pan out (I got rejected via email - thanks technology!) so I've been spending the afternoon sending out emails with the words "touching base" in the subject line, and reconnecting with every connection I have in my network.
On Monday it's my birthday and I'm having a meeting with The World's Greatest Boss to figure out what to put in the memo we are sending out to all the employees who currently report into me so they know that they will no longer be reporting into me.
My last day of work is on Hallowe'en and I'm seriously considering dressing up as a pink-slip.
Does anyone know how one would go about applying for pogey?
