The parking garage at work smelt like incense and it was kind of smoky this morning. Upstairs the lobby was packed with people as all 3 towers were shut down and the fire department had closed all elevators. When I finally got to my office at 9:30, this message was waiting for me on my voicemail:
My name is Beatrice Hoyer and I tried calling your office yesterday from Lima, Peru where I was yesterday. My problem is that I was bitten by a monkey and I have rabies vaccinations. I got 4 of the shots and was supposed to get the 5th one today but nobody is answering at your office. Please let me know if I can still come in to get the 5th vaccination.
Looks like Carole Wood has some competition.

I had to look up the word SMELT because I was sure it's not a proper way to use smell in past tense, but it is indeed a real word, good to know.
