As much as it pains me to say this, I enjoyed the day trip to Quebec this weekend. But then again, you can’t really go wrong when you hang out at the spa all afternoon and then have the most amazing dinner ever. Thankfully we went back to Ottawa before I decided to take French courses again.

“Poker for Dummies” was pretty successful too – the fact that we made a cheat sheet and gambled with jelly beans helped. Now we all know that a Straight Flush isn’t something you get when a cute member of the opposite sex walks by and smiles at you, and a Full House is just like the show says – 3 girls, 2 uncles.

Despite the insane/random/unexplainable traffic on the drive home yesterday, Monday was still a success. (For anyone keeping track, that’s 3 in a row.)
