Thought I was gone for good, didn't you? Turns out I'm just lazy and never get to my laptop anymore. But I have today off so here's a quick recap in 140 characters or more:
Work is amazing and busy. Amazingly busy. By now you've all heard about the 32 gingerbread houses, 2 ministry-wide leadership events, divisional days, and long nights. What I haven't talked about is the incredible people I work worth who make all that craziness irrelevant at the end of the day. Such a change from what I left behind and I'm so lucky to be surrounded by good peeps.
On the condo front, the search is on hold until the new year. There were a few places I fell in love with, but it just didn't work out and I want to enjoy the holidays without planning all my time around condo viewings and MLS listings. Bums me out a bit, but the silver lining is that I can exploit my parents house and kitchen for my Christmas party this weekend.
Got to sleep in this morning and it was the most magical thing ever; getting up when I want to, and not because my alarm is buzzing is kind of liberating. Spent the morning planning my menu and I'm almost done with the grocery list for my Christmas party. Still can't believe it's been 11 years and going strong. If you're reading this, show up at my house tomorrow anytime after 7:00pm and come hungry. There will be the usual suspects (food and people wise), but also a few surprises that I'm excited and nervous about.
And there you have it - my life since my post. Nothing overly exciting, but I've been enjoying it so no complaints here.
Happy Friday!

I am starting to think you're gone. Not for good, but definitely MIA.
You can make it up to me though. My birthday's in 8 days and I'd appreciate having some decent reading other than the TFTD to look forward to.
