candy sushi

I swear I will eventually post something that contains more than just pictures and 4 sentences, but right now it's sunny outside and there is a lounge chair with my name on it. Until then, this is what I made to celebrate Canada Day:

Pound cake wrapped in fruit-by-the-foot fruit roll-up and covered with white icing and white sprinkles on top, and then decorated with Nerds, chopped up Mike and Ikes, and fruit chews.

Same idea as the rolls, but we made them into sashimi by decorating the top of the pound cake with Swedish fish instead. Things got a little competitive and we may have veered away from the traditional look just a bit.
