Let's keep this one short and sweet. Jays home opener was last night and despite the loss to those dirty dirty White Sox it was a great game. Rios got booed and heckled and strike out swinging for his first at bat. There were a few good rally moments and drawn out innings/final outs. Oh, and the Sky Dome was packed
Before the game Dave and I did some last minute wedding shopping and had the usual celebratory drinks along with some beer and wings on a patio. We talked about the upcoming nuptials, my recent freedom from the 9-to-5, potential ideas for wedding speeches, and playlists for the reception.
Tomorrow night is the rehearsal followed by dinner here. We've got champagne, tasty treats, and a giant surprise that Dave has no idea about (no matter what he may think). It's going to be a party for the books!
