As it was oh so lovingly pointed out to me the other day, I need to "get off my lazy ass an update my blog once in a while". And to that oh so subtle friend I would just like to say, "thanks Captain Obvious! I wasn't aware of that until you mentioned it. What would I ever do without you?" Sarcasm aside (yes, it is possible for me to do that), there hasn't been anything I've been dying to post. Kind of sad that the most exciting things in my life during the past 30 odd days have been strep throat and dress fittings.
My new boss started at work and I've had some seriously early mornings, late nights, and a few Sundays at the office. Huge improvement from the Crazy Train that was before, but lots of changes and a steep learning curve on both sides. Here's to hoping that sticking around will be worth it because lord knows I hate writing cover letters.
Haven't seen much of the WC ladies since January and it took a white lie and a 30th birthday to bring us out of the woodwork. Claudia, we came up with the ultimate/essential playlist for your wedding; it's guaranteed to get people up and dancing. No need to thank us, just make sure YMCA comes on around 9:30.
Floor hockey (and post-game beers and karaoke) is my new obsession. Something about the too-short plastic sticks with red and blue blades, it makes me feel like I'm in grade 8 all over again. But without the awkward moments of puberty.
There have been some interesting/challenging/emotional events lately too but I'll save those for future posts. Wouldn't want to waste it all at once otherwise nobody would check this thing to see what's going on in my wild and crazy life.

It's hard to have a wild and crazy life in the winter as the world itself is not as inviting.
Once it's patio season and you can truly enjoy the sunshine and the fresh air with good company and good drinks. That's when things will get wild and crazy.
I promise.
