My first week on the new job was amazing! There is much to do and so much to improve on and so much to learn. Sharing an office isn't that bad, the commute is super quick, and my boss is a CHRP too. Oh, and I went on a tour of the production floor....WOWZA!!!! My new company is the best!
We capped off the week with an R&R meeting and I met some cool people and we drank some beers and did some shots and had some laughs.
On Saturday we celebrated my cousins' birthdays and on the way home my brother told me he got engaged on Friday. Surprised doesn't even begin to describe how I felt. Ridiculously happy is more like it. Dave, I will forgive/ignore/never mention the state you were in on the way home, except to say that you are lucky it was your birthday/engagement that night.
Sunday was a day of celebration and the meeting of 2 families. Because we are Italian we celebrated in the only way we know how...lots of food and drink and love.
So not only do I have an wicked new job, but now I'm getting a killer new sister (in-law)! Life is good.

Thanks! I'm really excited about the whole thing...there is so much for me to learn and I'm getting to do a lot on my own. The company makes pretty much all of the plastic cards in your wallet (credit cards, bank cards, the new OHIP cards...)
The job market is pretty shitty here too, I've been looking since May!
