Got the keys to my new digs on Friday and had a celebratory drink before heading to the Jays home opener with 19 crazy friends. Slept over on the air mattress, woke up with the sun coming through my window, and had a beer on the balcony.
Bought an awesome couch yesterday and found the perfect coffee table/TV unit/end table combo that will match the sexy floors just right. Best part is I don't pay a cent until the summer.
Spent the entire day today cleaning someone elses dirt out of everything. Grime and grease and grossness have been replaced with a lemony fresh scent and a sparkling kitchen counter top that I cannot wait to christen.
Next weekend is all about painting, the week after will (hopefully) be moving in, then the train of house warming parties can commence. You're all invited of course.
