planes, trains, and automobiles

On Thursday, May 13 I leave for a 2 week European extravaganza, starting with a Bayern Munich football game in Berlin. Then it's off to Munich for a few days before the train to Austria (Salzburg and Vienna). When I've had my fill of the Von Trapps, schnitzel, and strudel it's back on the train to Prague for a few more days, then back to Munich to do laundry and hang out with some friends.

Kind of nervous (and overly excited) to travel on my own. The last time I was in Europe it was a Trafalgar bus tour with Dave and having every minute of every day planned out was draining. Not having an itinerary is liberating, but I am open to suggestions as to where to go or what to do.

Now I need to brush up on my German/Austrian/Czech. Lucky for me, beer and wine sound the same in most languages.
