happy Easter

It's been a while since I have had anything exciting to say or worthy of sharing but now that I do, I'm too tired to go into detail. Basically it was a busy weekend of culinary chaos and I loved every minute of it. Other than that, the pictures will have to speak for themselves.

  • Kalamata olives and homemade taramasalata with crusty bread
  • Mussels in spicy tomato, garlic and white wine sauce
  • Leg of lamb roasted with rosemary, eggplant, Spanish onions, and cherry tomatoes
  • Grilled peppers, zucchini, and portobello mushrooms
  • Scalloped potatoes with Gruyere cheese
  • Arugala and watercress salad with pears, walnuts, and Parmesan
  • Zeppole
  • Honey-ricotta cheesecake with mixed berry and Grand Marnier sauce
  • Chocolate cake with bittersweet ganache, fleur de sel and caramel filling, topped with white and milk chocolate shavings for good measure
